Tamarinis

Tammy is the the creator and owner of Tamarinis. She’s been quilting since 1991, and confesses to a passion for bright fabrics, batiks, bold prints – and words on fabric! Her pattern line, Tamarinis, offers fun, unique patterns for quilters of all skill levels and interests. As a fabric designer for Island Batik, an Aurifil designer, a Studio 180 Certified Instructor, and as a confessed fabric fanatic, Tammy offers classes and lectures to all who want to share her passion for all things fabric.

Good Fortune is a series of three different Hamsa hand appliqués, each symbolizing good fortune and protection. Easy fusible applique and optional stitching (by machine or hand) make this a lovely but quick project. Make one or make all three!

Stitch up one simple Mariner’s Compass block without templates or paper piecing! Get the LOOK of a Mariner’s Compass quickly and easily with Tammy’s guided improv technique! You can finish it as a mini quilt (as she did), or use it as your starter for the larger Compass Points quilt!
