How to Get Help

Contrary to popular belief, this site is run by the same people who run the LoveBug Studios website, which is to say, Ebony and a lady who checks the voice mail twice a week. We’ve tried to answer as many questions as we could think of here, but if you still have questions, you can send us a note through the Contact Us page here.

Although the sites are connected, it’s really better if you help us keep the issues separated by not flooding the LoveBug Studios number and mailbox with Retreat questions. If it’s a dire emergency, by all means do it, but if you can wait a little bit for an answer, do us a favor and just use our email contact, k?


Why we need your address

When you sign up for a retreat, you will receive a small package in the mail with a gift from us. This is shipped to you at no charge, after early registration closes. (If you order something additional, these items will be combined with your order.)

Why shipping is so costly

You can thank the USPS for raising rates again. Our site is directly connected to the USPS site to get real-time rates, and rates are determined by the size and weight of your package. We carefully weigh every item before it is listed on the site, so what you see is what it really costs us.

When you will get stuff you order

When you order kits & patterns through the attendee-only shop, it is on a pre-order basis, and must be ordered during the early registration period. The items you order in your kit will ship approximately 10-14 days prior to the start of the retreat.

If you are not able to order your kit prior to early registration ending, you will have to place your order with each individual instructor on their website. This will cost you more in shipping!

If you order anything else in the shop that is not part of a mini-project, those items will ship based on availability. Because these items are open for order at any time, you may or may not receive them prior to the retreat.

Note: We are doing our best to accommodate everyone through the COVID-19 impacts. Please note that we have no control over shipping times once your package leaves our hands, and USPS has stopped shipping to some countries.

Refunds, Returns, Exchanges

Refunds aren’t a thing… except when they are

When you sign up for this retreat, you are paying for what is essentially digital access to our content, which includes free patterns, exclusive discounts, videos, and the online retreat. It’s a package deal. If you end up not being able to attend the live online retreat, you still got access to all these other amazing things. There are no refunds on digital products.

If you pre-ordered a physical item, and you cancel your order before it is packed for shipping, you will receive a full refund less the payment processing fee. If you cancel after it is packed for shipping, you will incur a 25% restocking fee. Orders cannot be refunded after they have shipped.

If your item is somehow defective, we will make it right.

Damaged or lost packages

If something has been damaged in transit, we will repair or replace the item. We may ask you to submit documentation of the damage or return the item at our expense.

All shipments are shipped with tracking numbers with proof of delivery; therefore, we do not take responsibility for misdirected, lost, or stolen merchandise. If you wish to add shipping insurance or request signature delivery, please note this on your order during checkout. Proof of delivery provided on request.
